The Bone Health Laboratory at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School UTHealth has multiple machines available for biomechanical and biochemical assessment of bone specimens. In addition, new testing protocols have been developed to evaluate skin laxity and knee joint laxity (AP and ML) using mouse specimens, but can be adjusted for other animal models as required. To discuss testing projects, contact Dr. Catherine Ambrose (Catherine.G.Ambrose@uth.tmc.edu).
